In this advert Ed Sheeran is embracing his image by quoting "I'M BRINGING GINGER BACK" which implys to us that he is happy with the way he looks and is embracing it this also emphasises the importance of his star image, Text ''GINGER'' is written in red this opposes convention as you would expect it to be written as orange Ed Sheeran does this because he does not want to be predictable to his audience. The acoustic guitar is a key part of the acoustic genre which is why it is included in the advert. The guitar also has a pawprint on which is part of Ed Sheeran's star image. The link below shows a T-shirt with ''I Paw Ed Sheeran'' written a ginger paw is a symbol of Ed Sheeran and is shown on his merchandise. His guitar has been personalised which means it is important to him. It is also an essential part of his star image and performance.

Ed Sheeran is wearing a Ralph Lauren hoodie. This is a brand that his target audience is familiar with and what they might be wearing. This makes the fans feel like they are similar to Ed Sheeran which establishes a stronger artist-audience relationship. This also shows that he is wearing clothes that are not exclusive to celebrities as anyone can get one from the Ralph Lauren website or shop.

There is a flag coming off the top of a parliament building which reads  '' Ed Sheeran has given up busking to look at skirt instead '' this is implying that he is looking for girl. It also implys that he is giving up busking as he has made it in the music industry. The statement is not 100% serious as the article explains that he was approached in the street by a woman who told him that he was amazing.

Ed Sheeran is positioned against a wall. The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben are in the background, this tells us that he is from London, England. You can tell that he is from England as Big Ben is an icon of London. His sight lines are looking away from the camera which gives them impression that he does not care about the camera. This shows is more interested about what is going on around him for example the caption which says '' chasing skirt '' could relate to his sight lines as he is looking at women.

Ed Sheeran has messy hair and he also is wearing jeans. These are conventions of the acoustic-indie genre and fans expect to see these conventions.

Here we have taken seven still shots of our artist in various locations and different poses. Some of these photos will be used for our front cover, back cover and inlay of our Digipack. All these photos are outside shots with him playing or just posing with the guitar. We chose to keep it outside to match our genre of indie acoustic as if you look at similar artists lots of there front covers are of the artists playing or either just posing with the guitar in the background.
